This is a finishing chamber reamer with an interchangeable pilot. Unless noted, it is designed to cut a SAMMI minimium specification chamber. Alternate pilots are available, which allow you to more accurately fit the bore of your barrel. A precise fit will allow the reamer to cut concentrically, without scoring the rifling. We recommend measuring the bore of your barrel so that you know what sizes you will need. The barrel manufacturer may also be able to offer recommendations. All of our tools are manufactured by Pacific Tool and Gauge, so their pilots will also work with this reamer.

This reamer is made from high speed steel and is not suitable for hardened steel barrels. We offer a limited selection of carbide reamers for cutting chrome barrels. NOTE: Insurance does not cover damage caused by a hardened barrel.
